Most Christians today would
- lead their own children to hell rather than give up their own sin
- go through life never leading a single person to Christ for salvation
- go weeks, months, or years never sharing the Gospel with anyone
- find it easier to get offended and leave than accept the challenge to win souls
Are you like most Christians? Or are you different?
Would you dare to share this message with anyone ever? Or are you afraid it will convict you in front of all your family and friends?
Will it break you? Will it change you? Will it challenge you? Will it drive you to your knees in repentance asking God for forgiveness?
Would you let such a change take hold of you if it meant you had to stand alone among a world of people who would write you off as “religious” even if it meant only one more soul would be challenged and saved by it?
- What if the soul was your son?
- What if that soul was your daughter?
- Or your husband or your wife?
And what if it turned out to be a thousand souls instead?
- Or a million?
- Or a billion?
Would you go through eternity wondering whether a billion more souls could have been saved
- had your surrender to Christ been more complete,
- had your trust been more complete,
- had you more courage to get your name on the line and surrender your life to His cause in front of your friends and your family?
Would you surrender so completely to Him?
I’m happy to see you coming here, but sad to see so few coming here.
The day will come when many will perish into hell and see their loved ones perish and wish they had done something. Others will be glad they surrendered their all to Jesus Christ and reaped a huge harvest of souls–crowns they will be able to lay at Jesus’ feet in heaven.
So, thank God you’re right here. Many people belong here. Millions. No, billions belong here. But, on a good day we may get twenty visitors.
Sad, isn’t it?
In a split second, porn sites and adultery sites will be flooded with more traffic than this site would receive in ten years at the current rate. It’s a sad statement about Christians today, isn’t it?
And yet there are other Christians in North Korea who preferred to be crushed under a steam roller or shot to death rather than back down from their stand for Christ. Onlookers reported becoming sick at the sound of heads crushing and brains splattering out from under the roller as Christians became part of the pavement beneath.
- But here in America, we cannot even send people to a website like this.
- When the martyred saints arise to receive their crown of glory to lay at the feet of Jesus, where will we stand?
If our children and our friends perish into hell without a warning or prayer from us, what will we say as they look into our eyes with desperation and unbelief, as the dreaded words come from Christ saying, “Depart from Me for I never knew you”?
Will we perish with them or be spared while they perish?
Will we run away from the truth and let all this happen anyway as we shelter ourselves from the reality of our guilt and shame? Will we run away? Or will we stay and fight and pray and diligently seek God’s guidance?
What will you do? How will you spend the precious hours of your life? If we squander a soul per day on fear and pride and self-indulgence and sin, how many will be lost? II Chronicles 7:14 says,
If My people which are called by My name will
- humble themselves
- and pray
- and seek My face
- and turn from their wicked ways
then I will
- hear from heaven and
- forgive their sins and
- heal their land
It’s a promise from God.
