When Will The Grace Of God End?

When will the grace of God end? Have you ever ponder on this question? Did anyone tell you the grace of God never ends? Let’s explore this question today, shall we?
To begin, we need to ask ourselves: ‘What does it mean?’ According to Google,
So grace is favor, “unmerited favor.” Grace is, therefore, God’s unmerited favor – His goodness toward those who have no claim on, nor reason to expect, divine favor. The principal manifestation of God’s grace has heen in the form of a gift.
Every one knows that. According to Google, it is God’s undeserved favor to people. We stand on a principle that is totally dependent on His favor. So, we do not have the right to claim His favor? Am I right or do you disagree? In other word, it’s all up to Him to grant His favor. Having that understanding, let’s explore further.
Is it conditional? What does that mean? In other word, it is:
subject to one or more conditions or requirements being met; made or granted on certain terms. (Google)
In fact conditionalis the key word in my discussion today. Let’s look at the Bible and see what God says, shall we? If you click on the link, you notice some verses that talk about it. You will discover, God’s favor is dependent on 2 key phrases. The words ‘faith’ and ‘Jesus Christ’ appear often in connection to it. Here are some examples: Ephesians 2:8-9, 2 Peter 1:2
‘ For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast.’

‘ Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord .’

Now, according to Google, the principal manifestation of God’s favor has heen in the form of a gift. That is rightfully so. The ‘gift’ is spoken as the gift of Salvation. In many ways, it is granted to those who receive and or believe. So, to apply this grace of God to an unbeliever, is a wrong teaching. It does not apply to those who disbelieve. That is one condition. Clearly, this message applies to the believers of Jesus Christ. If we who then received it and yet continually sin against His Holy Spirit. What will become of us?
Remember the story Ananias and Sapphira? Did they die after sinning against the Holy Spirit? Today, we teach others it’s okay to sin as long as you ask God for forgiveness later. That is so wrong.. God’s grace is not a license to sin.
Then we teach that the grace of God never ends to an unbeliever. That is another wrong. We need to preach God’s holiness and repentance instead. Grace is a call to holiness. Repentance is the key to receive God’s grace, God’s forgiveness and God’s love. If we never understood this, we’re preaching the wrong Gospel.
Do we need to wake up? Yes! When will grace end? When we deliberately sin against the Holy Spirit and refuse to repent repeatedly. It’s about time we take the Word of God seriously.
Do you need to come before God and confess your sins against the Holy Spirit today? Come to Him.. He’s waiting for you. Get right with God today.

Why New Covenant Is Better?

Why New Covenant Is Better?

Have you wondered what new covenant is all about? What does the Bible say about it? Do you know Jesus came to set up the new covenant? Before we learn more about the new covenant, let’s examine what the old covenant was and how it came about.

Under The Old Covenant, The Israelites Lived By The Laws.

The core of the old covenant was on the ten commandments. Moses received 2 tablets of the ten commandments from God while he was at Mount Sinai. He gave Moses specific instructions on how to obey the laws.
When Moses got delayed up on the mountain, the people of God grew uneasy and started to complain. A golden calf got built as a result which led to Moses’ anger against them.
If you read Exodus chapter 20 – 32, you can read the account yourself. According to Exodus 20:4-6, it says:
“You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing loving kindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
As you can see, the people of God failed. The Israelites failed to uphold the laws themselves. 3000 died without entering the promised land.
When Jesus came, Jesus established the new covenant. So, as believers of Jesus Christ today, we are no longer subjected to the laws. We are under His grace and truth. Why is the new covenant better?

Jesus Came Not Only To Fulfill The Laws But Also To Deal With Our Hearts.

He did not come to cleanse just the outside but really.. what’s inside that no man sees. Often times, Jesus spoke against the pharisees and teachers of the laws, on many occasions, disagreeing on many issues and practices, thus touching on a man’s heart than simply after the formality.

In fact, under the new covenant, the laws got written in believers’ hearts. Jesus came as promised. God provided where the Israelites failed. According to Jeremiah 31:33, the Bible says:
“But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the LORD, “I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
Under this new covenant, Jesus did not leave His disciples hopeless. The Holy Spirit came to lead and guide them. In the book of Acts, you can read all about the Holy Spirit and His works with the disciples. As believers today, the Holy Spirit is still very active in us.
Do you know Him? A spirit-filled live, will hear from Him and walk closely with Him. Therefore it’s not impossible to live holy as God intended.
Under The New Covenant, Believers Live By Grace And Truth.

The grace of God should never be trampled. It is not a license to sin, rather, a call to holiness. God is gracious. He is also righteous and holy. We cannot take God’s grace for granted. One day, we will stand before God and answer, to give an account of what we do with our lives.

“Grace may be defined as the unmerited or undeserving favor of God to those who are under condemnation.”
The grace of God is given freely to you when you reach out your hands and receive it, acknowledging what Jesus did on the cross is for you. His blood on the cross cleanse you from all your sins, set you free. Acknowledge Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Call upon His name today. I urge you to stop living under the laws today. Let the new covenant delivers and sets you free.
