\u2018Are we there yet?\u2019 An interesting question that we often hear from our young kids if you are a parent. This morning, it acts as a reminder that we are definitely on our way.. but, soon we will reach that intended destination meant for us. Now, you ask: \u2018Where and what is that?\u2019 The New Earth, and the New Heaven.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>When God created the Earth in the beginning,\u2019 it was good\u2019, He said, \u00a0as He intended. Then man sinned and fall short of His glory. \u00a0Later, He destroyed the Earth, saved the animals and Noah\u2019s family, thinking a new earth will come out of that? A good question.. Yet again.. Noah\u2019s line down the track sinned. What to do?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0Was the word \u2018restoration\u2019 always on God\u2019s mind? I believe it was so. Do you ever long for all things \u00a0restored back to its original state? Good and perfect! The truth is we never know until we\u2019ve created something massive, like the earth. The heart and passion that is\u00a0in place to create this massive galaxy, Universe. What do we know..?<\/div>\n

\u00a0Then God has had a plan.<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

He Sent His very own beloved, Jesus, as the solution to restore everything <\/a><\/strong>that had gone so wrong. Therefore, Jesus was and is the answer to making us the \u2018New Man\u2019 through the Mighty work of the Holy Spirit. When Jesus is the Lord of our lives, the Bible says: \u2018Behold the old is gone, and the new has begun\u2019. (2 Corinthians 5:17) We become\u00a0\u2018New\u2019.<\/h2>\n

<\/div>\n
\u00a0The \u2018New Man\u2019 is God\u2019s intent. So, does all these make sense? God will get His people ready for what He\u2019s going to remake, that is the New Earth and the New Heaven. We will become His New Jerusalem, His Holy City. It now makes sense, don\u2019t you think? God\u2019s purpose in restoration is to prepare His beloved, His people, to live\u00a0with Him in this New Earth and New Heaven<\/strong>. Are you getting excited? I know I do.<\/div>\n

\u00a0Yet, one question keeps popping up: \u2018Are you ready for this adventure?\u2019 The next question is not: \u2018Do you know Jesus?\u2019 as many would ask. In fact, it is this: \u2018Does Jesus know you? and \u2018what would \u00a0He said\u00a0about you?\u2019 The words \u2018faithful\u2019 and \u2018true\u2019 appear in the Book of Revelation many times. Would we find ourselves both faithful and true to Jesus at the end of our journey in this life on earth? If in any doubt, seek God and He shall be found.<\/div>\n

\u00a0In conclusion, the question \u2018are we there yet<\/span>?\u2019 is a good question to ask God and ourselves and it\u2019s about time we ponder\u00a0on this. For the Bible also says that Jesus is coming soon for His bride. Will we be ready when He comes?<\/h6>\n
