Supernatural<\/strong> events happened right about the time of Jesus’ birth simply because God<\/strong> is Himself, the supernatural<\/strong> being. We learn all about it through the Word of God<\/strong>, the Bible.<\/p>\n

The Bible was a record of everything that God<\/strong> did, to save humanity. Therefore, the truth is everything\u00a0God<\/strong> did is\u00a0absolutely supernatural.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So, what exactly happened? Let us find out, shall we?<\/p>\n

Both Mary and Elizabeth Received Supernatural News<\/p><\/div>\n

Bible’s Account In Luke<\/strong><\/h3>\n

According to the Book of Luke chapter 1:26 – 37, \u00a0it gave an account of the visit from Angel Gabriel to deliver the ‘Great New!’ to Mary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0<\/sup>Now in the sixth month of her pregnancy,[i<\/a>]<\/sup> the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city in Galilee called Nazareth, <\/strong><\/span><\/span>27\u00a0<\/sup>to a virgin engaged to a man named Joseph, a descendant[j<\/a>]<\/sup> of David. The virgin\u2019s name was Mary. <\/span>28\u00a0<\/sup>The angel[k<\/a>]<\/sup>came to her and said, \u201cGreetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you!\u201d[l<\/a>]<\/sup> <\/span>29\u00a0<\/sup>Startled by his statement, she tried to figure out what his greeting meant.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

30\u00a0<\/sup>Then the angel told her, \u201cStop being afraid, Mary, because you have found favor with God. <\/span>31\u00a0<\/sup>Listen! You will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and you are to name him Jesus. <\/span>32\u00a0<\/sup>He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David.<\/span>33\u00a0<\/sup>He will rule over the house of Jacob forever, and his kingdom will never end.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

34\u00a0<\/sup>Mary asked the angel, \u201cHow can this happen, since I have not had relations with[m<\/a>]<\/sup> a man?\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

35\u00a0<\/sup>The angel answered her, \u201cThe Holy Spirit will come over you, and the power of the Most High will surround you. Therefore, the child will be holy and will be called the Son of God. <\/span>36\u00a0<\/sup>And listen! Elizabeth, your relative, has herself conceived a son in her old age, this woman who was rumored to be barren is in her sixth month. <\/span>37\u00a0<\/sup>Nothing is impossible with respect to any of God\u2019s promises.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

When God Acts, He Affirms<\/strong><\/h3>\n

When God chose to do a supernatural happening, often times, He affirms with the people\u00a0involved and in this case, it did involve Mary.<\/p>\n

If you noticed, a relative of Mary whose name was Elizabeth was also pregnant with a child in her old age. His name was\u00a0John. He was actually known as ‘John the Baptist’ by many.<\/p>\n

Another supernatural happened right around the same time. Elizabeth was barren, unable to have a child. Yet, she was 6 months pregnant when Mary received the news from Angel Gabriel.<\/p>\n
