For me, connecting with family members and old friends on Facebook became the most exciting &#8216;hookup&#8217; for me ever since I live in United States.<\/p>\n<p>Being able to connect with my friends from Singapore and South Australia, Adelaide seems like an excellent idea, to stay in touch. This morning as I was further researching on this subject, I came across <a title=\"Facebook, the new cause of divorce\" href=\"http:\/\/thetechjournal.com\/internet\/facebook-is-the-new-cause-of-divorce.xhtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this article<\/a> from <strong>Tech Journal<\/strong>. The website stated:<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nIsn&#8217;t it interesting to know that\u00a0<strong>\u201cThe most common reason stated, was that people had inappropriate sexual chats with people they were not supposed to.\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0On further claim that: &#8220;<strong>online social networking can seriously damage your life&#8221;?<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>I also came across <a title=\"Facebook and social media cause 1in 5 divorces. But it is really a surprise?\" href=\"http:\/\/www.istrategyconference.com\/blog\/?category=Social-Media&amp;title=Facebook-causes-1-in-5-divorces-in-the-US-but-is-that-really-a-surprise&amp;pid=252\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this article<\/a> from <strong>The strategy Blog<\/strong>, where the author wrote his thoughts on this prominent issue. I&#8217;ve included these articles hoping to elaborate on the seriousness of this discussion that had taken place lately. And hope to spark off some questions you may have about\u00a0this issue.<\/div>\n<p><strong>A Sad Phenomenon<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The one question I have after doing some research, is this. Should I stop logging on Facebook? It is a sad <a href=\"http:\/\/dota.godsblogs.com\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>phenomenon<\/strong><\/span><\/a> as the social media network is simply a tool used by a cluster of creative minds to generate profits. Therefore, I believe it was never their intention. So, should Facebook<a href=\"https:\/\/relevantmagazine.com\/article\/how-facebook-infidelity-can-sabotage-your-marriage\/\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> infidelity <\/span><\/strong><\/a>be entirely blamed for all these?<\/p>\n<p>One message I seem to pick up from what I&#8217;ve read, directed\u00a0to people who are capable of committing adultery. Do people who cheat on their spouses need to confine themselves to Facebook to cheat on their spouses? \u00a0Most professionals do not agree with the view and think otherwise because cheaters are capable to find any platform to cheat, not necessary just on Facebook.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Personal Reflection<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>I believe our present economic situation plays a big part in people&#8217;s state of mind today. Due to high unemployment rate in United States, people become financially dissatisfied, further resulting in greater conflicts at home. Greater significant arguments and fights lead to unhappy families. People are looking for means to escape from their real-life situations. They hide behind the computers, seeking to relieve from their unpleasant circumstances.<\/p>\n<p>Clinging on\u00a0the thinking that &#8216;the field on the other side is greener than theirs .&#8217; Surely it doesn&#8217;t help solve the problems.\u00a0With internet chats easily accessible these days, people hide behind a screen. No wonder people are generally bolder doing what they would otherwise not do in person.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Should Facebook be blamed?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h2>\u00a0Facebook and other social medias are only tools used to connect people together. However, people misused such platforms\u00a0for various purposes and motives. Either we use them\u00a0for the right reason or we will always be wondering about any thing we use in the future. I like the tips brought up in the video.<\/h2>\n<h2>I believe they are helpful and a good prevention measure to insure healthy relationships with our spouses.\u00a0One thing I hope to reinforce in my blog that according to the Bible, in <strong>Malachi 2:16 <\/strong>God declares His hatred to divorce and violence. In fact, Malachi 2:16 sounds like a warning to me in person. What do you think? <strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff9900\"><strong>\u201cI hate divorce,\u201d says the Lord God of Israel, \u201cand I hate a man\u2019s covering himself with violence as well as with his garment,\u201d says the Lord Almighty.
