As Christians, we have the incredible privilege of holding the word of God, the Bible, allowing us to be ahead of our time. When we truly walk with God and listen for His voice, He equips us with discernment and understanding about what is to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Intentional Pursuit of God<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

So, what does pursuing God require of us? First, we need to intentionally set our hearts and minds away from the distractions of this world. We must seek His presence, immerse ourselves in His Word, and attune our hearts to hear that still, small voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seeking Divine Wisdom<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

James 1:5 reminds us, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” This encourages us to actively seek God\u2019s guidance in our lives as part of our journey in pursuing God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Declaring Our Intentions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In response, let us boldly declare: \u201cHere am I, Lord, use me!\u201d With open hearts, we invite God to guide us and lead us into His plans and purposes as we pursue Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Call to Discernment in Pursuing God<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The wise in heart are truly discerning, as stated in Proverbs 16:21: “The wise in heart are called discerning, and gracious words promote instruction.” This wisdom is key in our ongoing efforts in pursuing God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of Your Word and the wisdom that it brings. I ask You to fill our hearts with understanding and discernment so that we may walk in Your truth. Help us to trust in You with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding, as Proverbs 3:5-6 teaches us. Let our love abound in knowledge and depth of insight, guiding us to discern what is truly best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
