How I started my journey
My journey as a writer began in 2011 as the founder of DOTA (Daughter of the Almighty). I wanted to encourage young Christian women to pen their thoughts about God and share their stories. Life is better when we are together. A reminder that we do not walk on this journey alone.

About me – What I enjoy and why I write
I truly enjoy photography. I love to go on road trips with my family. That is because I believe that photography is a great way to capture a beautiful memory.
In honor of my mother-in-law

In honor of my mother-in-law, I reconstructed her beloved garden bed in the front yard of our home. I recalled observing her, looking out at her garden through the window every morning, seated comfortably in her favorite chair. Her gaze was like a longing.. a longing to be out in the yard working on her beautiful flowers. Yet, a sadness befallen her as if she understood her unfulfilled wish. After she passed away in May 2014, I knew I wanted to do something special in order to keep her memory alive.
About me – Covid 19 hit California
5 years later, Covid 19 hit. California experienced a pandemic lockdown that lasted a little over 2 years. It was during the lockdown that I started to reconstruct the little garden in the front yard in her honor, right after we lost a pine tree that my husband’s grandparents planted for him.
About me – My love for gardening
My love for flowers, fused by an obsession to perfect my new found hobby, probably started this journey. I wanted to capture and expand the collection of insects that visit my garden. At the same time, growing mostly perennials in my garden. Perennials are plants that once successfully planted, they return years after years.

Healthy insects thrive in a healthy ecosystem

As you can see, from the pictures, I truly enjoy photography. Through the lens, I connect both of my favorite things such as flowers and macro photography to bring my story together.
