Eileen Dick – A wife and mother

was born a native Chinese Singaporean and raised in a large family of 13 inclusive of her parents. Later, she became a permanent residence of United States residing her family in California.

At the age of 30, she left her beloved hometown to study and gain knowledge about various types of disabilities in order to serve the community better in this field. 

Author’s Reason For Her Passion

Eileen was born with a cleft palate, the journey of understanding and coming to term her own disability helped to stir a passion within her to serve God by working with children with disabilities. 

She spent 7 years in Adelaide, South Australia after finishing her bachelor degree in Applied Science (Disability studies) and worked in an organization closely with children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Prior to that, she was working as a Special Education teacher in 2 special schools back in Singapore for a duration of 5 years.

Author And Her Family In California

Currently, Eileen resides in California with her family. She is happily married to Dan Dick, the Founder of Nodivorces and Godsblogs.

Eileen is blessed with her lovely step-daughter, Michelle Inez Dick who just turned 27 years old this January 2020. In 2012, David Joshua Jun Jie Dick was added to this family. David will turn 8 at the end of August 2020.

Dan and Eileen reside in Fresno California.
