Devotional Message

Are you powerless to change? Has anything stirred your heart lately, or has life become so routine that nothing excites you anymore? When was the last time you clearly heard God speaking to you?

For years, I felt stuck in the same place — unmoved, unchanged. But recently, God stirred my heart again. His prompting woke me up, and I realized I had been living with what I call a heart of indifference.

What does that mean? A heart of indifference is alive in body but dead in spirit — a “walking corpse” without passion, without hope, without joy. It’s when we feel powerless to change, when we believe life is hopeless, and when we stop looking forward to anything.

But here’s the good news: change is possible. Even the smallest step forward — one new habit, one prayer whispered in faith, one moment of obedience — can open the door to transformation. Change begins when we no longer settle for hopelessness, but dare to envision what God can make new in our lives.

Let Your Faith Be Bigger Than Your Fear

When you feel powerless, speak directly to your soul: “Let your faith be bigger than your fear!” Go into your secret place of prayer — your war room — and fight life’s battles first in the heavenly realm. In the strength of God, victory always begins on your knees.

Change may not come all at once, but through prayer, patience, and passion, you will begin to see new life take shape. Remember, passion is your God-given drive. Without it, you lose your spark. With it, God can redirect and transform your future.

Reflection Question

• Where in your life do you feel powerless to change, and how can you take one step of faith toward transformation this week?

Prayer

Lord, I confess that at times I have felt powerless to change. Stir my heart again, and breathe new passion into my soul. Let my faith rise above my fear, and transform me into who You created me to be. Amen
