Bleeding Heart Of The Great I AM

Bleeding Heart Of the Great I Am

Bleeding heart, what does that mean? It’s speaks of love, dismay, pain, all kind of emotions you can think of. When a heart is bleeding, it cares. Today our focus is on the broken heart of God. Why He cares? Let’s read more to find out..

Its been 3 days since God convinced me to read the Bible one chapter a day to my 3-year-old son, David from the beginning (Book of Genesis). The first 2 days went absolutely well. David enjoyed learning about God and his creations. You see, right up to this point, everything was perfect, absolutely beautiful. But, I also noticed the first command that God spoke to Adam was: ‘Do not eat the fruit, from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.’ ‘If you do, you shall surely die.’ Was God right?

Personal Story Continues

This morning, I read Genesis chapter 3 to David. David clearly did not like what he heard, after Adam and Eve were not allowed to stay in the Garden of Eden because they disobeyed God.

First the serpent changed what God commanded to Adam, then it lied to Eve and Eve ate what God told Adam not to eat. Later, she gave the fruit to Adam and he ate it. Immediately,  their eyes opened and filled with fear. They decided to hide from God. Next thing you knew, God came looking for Adam and Eve; ‘Where are you?’ He called out to them.

Then God gave each a judgement which included the serpent. Meanwhile, God made coverings for both Adam and Eve, out of skins and then instructed them to leave the garden. Finally, He placed the angels to guard the tree of life.

Was God mean to chase Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden? It seemed so to David.  Was God right to punish all parties involved? Was He too harsh?

As a parent to David, God showed me His broken heart today. When David misbehaved, I had to punish and correct his behavior. But, he knew I loved him. Every morning, he would wake up, look for me and give me his biggest smile. Each time he got punished, he might not like it but he knew very well that I loved him.

As a parent, I do not like to punish David. But as a good parent, I have to. Correction is necessary to teach David to become a well-balanced adult. Even though my heart aches more than he ever knows. Was God right to say: ‘You shall surely die?’ Yes, He was.

Did good exceed evil after Adam and Eve ate the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? The truth is evil intensified as time goes on. The first recorded hideous act came shortly after Adam and Eve disobeyed God. Meanwhile, evil continued to snowball over time. Is there any hope left?

Everything God created, He called them good. A perfect place for dwelling just like Heaven. Everything fall apart because of SIN. Can SIN co-exists in wholeness? Will SIN corrupt? Look at Adam and Eve..

Does God Care?

Is it possible for God to undo the wrong? Would the undoing make any difference? The broken heart of God has to solve a dilemma. On one hand, watching His precious creations literally falling apart before His eyes and on the other, how to save it? Could sacrificing His only Begotten Son Jesus, do the job? Jesus is the only one qualified.

Is it fair to God to sacrifice His Son to save all even the ungrateful? It’s already been done. The question is: ‘What do you do about what you now know?’

Making America Great

Making America Great

The question that many ask on the election year: ‘How can we make America great again?’ The truth lies not on ‘how can we make America great?’ but ‘how is America made great?’ So, what is the difference? The word ‘can’ gives one an option to decide if he or she will come along with the venture which in fact is every citizens responsibility to hop on board, to make America a great nation.

[cincopa AEPAaRNLb8YA]

Why is America not a great nation? President Obama in the State of the Union address, insisted ‘America is a great nation no matter what anyone thinks otherwise.’ The truth is in these 7 years under the leadership of President Obama, how many times were America under the threat of ‘government shutdown’?

The failure of the collaboration between the right-wing and the left-wing proved the failure in the role of the commander-in-chief. Nobody talks of the broken system in the government since 2008. President Obama uses his executive power sparingly shows his inability to unite both the Democrats and the Republicans to offer workable solutions for the American citizens.

America reacts and responds to international crisis. A productive organization takes proactive stands. Are we? In what way? The Obama Administration did not do a good job in negotiating deals through these 7 years. For example, how good was the deal to negotiate the release of 7-8 Taliban terrorist leaders for 1 run away soldier that the government eventually brought him to trial? A drastic mistake on the part of the Obama Administration.

America in these 7 years did not dramatically cut our debts, in fact our debts increased further. How much did unemployment fall? How many families still struggling to survive on a miserable income? How is Obama care helping so far? How many of Obama care insurance companies are closing?

This article exists, not to destroy every effort that Obama administration put in. We saw some positive outcome as well. But, to end that America is great, we are nowhere near there. We are if we are honest enough, still working towards that direction.

How is America made great again?

A bald eagle cannot soar with one strong wing. Whether the strong wing consists of all the Democrats or all the Republicans. One strong wing will not make a bald eagle fly. Both the left-wing and the right-wing have to work to make sure this great bald eagle fly again. Not only to fly but to soar above the storms.

Can we go pass being a Democrat or a Republican? We need to own this nation as ours. Whether it will become great or not, we have a hand to play.

So, who will we pick as our next President? What should our criterion be? Should we say any candidate who will be willing and able to bring both parties work on solutions that will bring our nation forward to greatness again. Not what should or could be.. No more empty promises please. Enough is enough!

Let’s own our responsibility and pick what’s best for our nation’s sake. Unite America unite!

New Day Comes New Way

New Day Comes New Way

A new day marks new ways to make things new. Today we learn this new truth as we approach the new year. May God grant you revelation in this new day.

[cincopa AgGAUOtZ9NCg]My son David and I went for a walk this afternoon. We spent almost 2 hours together appreciating what we saw on our walk around our neighborhood.

While on our walk, we also spotted 2 busy squirrels which were not afraid of us because they kept themselves occupied and hardly distracted. Simply in awe..

An Inspired Message From God

Upon our return, God gave me an inspiration for this message. The truth is we hardly begin our new year with time to pray. The time we spend with God in prayers in the new year often gives us the drive we need to start the year right with Him. Now, the message He dropped in my heart today is in this prayer: ‘How can I be the light that reveals You, not me, Lord Jesus?

The key word in this question is How? When we ask God How, we are seeking His wisdom to give us His solution. The other key phrase is You, not me and the emphasis is on You. We need to focus on Jesus. Therefore, more of you, Lord Jesus and less of me.

Often time we love the attention we receive from people and we crave for more. This is a warning to those who are ministering in the public  limelight. Be aware! Re-evaluate your motive to check your heart and motive in God’s presence. Straying from God is so easy and tempting, trust me.

When we seek His wisdom, we hear from Him. It only means that we are learning to depend on Him, when we want what He wants, not our hearts want. Although not that our hearts want is wrong.. it simply means what His want is more important than ours. Putting Him first above our wants.

This year’s theme: ‘Go Light Your World’. The light we talk about is revealing who you are in Christ Jesus. According to Colossians 1:27, the Bible says:

27 To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

What is this mystery that the Bible talks about in the verse? The answer lies in this phrase, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. I urge everyone to do a Bible study on this truth, this year. Make it a resolution to do it either in your Quiet time or with a group.

Challenge For The New Year

Now, take this challenge on, my friends. Let us go light the world around us using the Words of God, which have the power to enable our transformation. Only through that will others see Jesus in and through you. Let this year brings out the exceptional, the excellence only enabled in Christ Jesus who is in you.

Shalom!

Divine Love – Our Theme

The message for tonight is this: The story of Christmas began in LOVE. It can change your life, redefine you and gives you a capacity that you never know you own, to care for another in return. So, what’s the story of Christmas all about?

This night, we talk about Divine Love. What do you mean? It exits because God first love us. God is the first to show what it is. When God decided to announce the Good News that the birth of Jesus Christ arrived, it was the point of no return for God’s Salvation plan for all people.

[cincopa AkBA4KtJDjDx]

The stretch of time before the birth of Jesus, God could still ‘change His mind’ if he decided to. The story of Christmas was God’s commitment to see through His plan. It was not all that easy or delightful to execute this path. It meant sacrificing His priceless gift so every one could be saved through His Son Jesus Christ.

It was a commitment directed by Divine Love. It is able to endure, persevere because the nature of that love never gives up. God loves you. He had you in mind when He began the Christmas Story. A story that many are unable to understand, but if you do, it will alter your life forever.

The story of Christmas began 2000 years ago. Nothing has changed since that day. It still speaks today just it  began 2000 years ago. Let His Divine Love speaks to you this Christmas.

So you see, the heart of the Christmas story begins in love. It never gives up. As you begin this festive season, remember God will ever pursue, always reaching out and finds room to cover and embrace those who come to Him or cry out to him.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Family – God’s Chess Piece

Family Is God’s Chess Piece

Did God use a family unit to fulfill His Salvation plan? God engineered the union between Joseph and Mary. Although, Jesus was not born as a result of their union, both Joseph and Mary raised Him as their own. He grew up under their care. Through it all, we learn how important a family unit is, led in God’s presence to fulfill the long-awaited prophecy.

Tonight’s message is to go ahead and take time to spend with the ones you love. Enjoy being silly and take time to laugh together. So, the best news is spending time together with one another is the best Christmas ever!

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year.  Not only for all that treasure family time, it’s also for Joseph and Mary. Both Joseph and Mary started their family when Jesus was born. Later they expanded further with Jesus’ brother.

God chose a family to begin the path of Salvation. It is an important part of this beautiful story. God uses families to change history. It reveals a simple truth about God’s perspective about relationships.

We know each other better when we spend time together. It is God’s intent that we get to know Him. If we want to spend time with the ones we love, that’s what God wants, a relationship with Him.

I’m reminded of this song tonight, entitled ‘Christmas is the time to love’. Have you heard of this song? This song talks about what’s most important during this festive season. It’s not about getting everything shopping done on time, rather, it’s about spending time together, enjoying each other and to love above all else.

Family

Christmas Is The Time To Love.

Have an awesome night with your family. Let music fills the entire house. Our story is not over yet. See you.. stay tuned tomorrow.

God’s Message Tonight

Have you ever been disappointed in your life? God has a special message for you tonight. Disappointment is part of life but it’s not from God. Sometimes, drowning in disappointment, we blamed Him. The truth is, we blame Him for every disasters in our lives. Tonight’s message, disappointment is nothing new to Him because He went through it all. If this interest you, God has more for you. Come along..

My hubby spent 10 months of 2015 and 2016 building an App that he believed inspired by God. The truth is I believed it too. What he could not understand was the response people took to this App.  Absolute no interest, no one not even one  download the App. After all the hard work he put in, no one wanted it.

It left me thinking..

Disappointment is nothing new to God. When He offered Jesus (His one and only Begotten Son) to the world, how many reject Jesus? Every year passed by and people were busy celebrating Christmas for every other reasons than celebrating the birth of His Son Jesus. Who truly knew who Jesus was? Who care?

God

Turn to God in your moment of disappointment.

Tonight, He wants you to know this. Up till this point, He has not given up on any one. In fact He will  not. For as long as you acknowledge you need Him, He will be there for you.

Many saw the birth of Jesus at that time. God started this spectacular event supernaturally, delivered by the Heavenly messengers. Yet, not many followed Him.

But He wants you to know, He is the Alpha and the Omega. The beginner and the finisher. Will you come to Him this Christmas?

Goodnight all. Christmas is not for me, but all. Have a great rest and see you tomorrow.

Ever Feel Lost? Know Jesus

Ever Feel Lost? Know Jesus

Ever feel lost? Some of us know that feeling more than others. Am I right? God has a message for you. Do you know that Jesus came to save those who are lost?

Tonight we are thankful for the ability to continue with our story. If you’ve waited to hear from us and didn’t.. we would like to apologize. Sometimes when our hearts desire but our flesh could not, it’s a battle. Who will win?

It’s liken that momentary sense of loss.. Have you tried driving around at night aimlessly and got lost? What did you do? Is it time to panic? Now if you have a GPS, it’s time to use it, right? What happens if you leave your GPS at home? Now… you begin to PANIC!!

Many of us know that very well and nobody likes it.. Now let me ask you a question. Did you ever intentionally get lost? The only time we ever realize it, is when we realize we’ve lost our focus, that is, we’ve found ourselves drifting off.. Why are we talking about this tonight?

Christmas is not about Santa Claus, Christmas lights, sleigh bells, snowman, Christmas tree, chocolates and candy cane or even presents. These are nice.. but they are not the truth of Christmas.

If the Bible had prophesied long before the birth of Jesus in Isaiah 9:6

“For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.”(NASB)

That is to say, His birth was only to fulfill the prophecy. It was clearly a supernatural event, intentional and planned.

What for, you ask?

“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

Lost

Jesus Came To Save Those Who Are Lost.

He came to seek and save you & me! Sometimes, the ones who think they do not need are the ones who need the most.

Have an awesome night everyone! See you soon.. stay tuned.

Shepherds in Christmas Story

Shepherds Saw Baby Jesus

Shepherds, why? Tonight, we introduce a group in our story. They’re not the Magi nor the King. They are however, the ordinary shepherds who live their whole lives looking after sheep. Yet, tonight they saw a historical event that only the blessed got to see and be a part of this beautiful story.

So what did they witness? According to Luke 2:8-20

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they got afraid. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

shepherds

shepherds witness the birth

14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”

16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17 When they had seen him, they spread the word  what was told to them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19 But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.

Why then did God choose to show the birth of Jesus to a group of ordinary shepherds? Isn’t it befit a King, not surrounded by the Nobles, Kings and Men of high standing?

Why the shepherds? This goes to show that God does not overlook the ordinary.

Some days when you are struggling to see any good in you, remember these shepherds. Although ordinary, yet in the hands of God, they saw and became a part of the extra-ordinary event.

The bottom-line message tonight is this: God has not forgotten you! Even when you think you are forgotten, He wants you to know this: He remembers, you are not.

The best is yet to come!

Let your heart be at rest tonight. Be at peace! See you tomorrow.

Messiah – The Promised One

The Messiah Promised?

Now, Who is this promised Messiah? Last night we shared about the journey the Magi took to search for the Messiah. According to the prophecy, it stated:

Messiah

Messiah-promised

“But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah,
    are by no means least among the rulers of Judah;
for out of you will come a ruler
who will shepherd my people Israel.’

On With Our Story

Now, we did not show you if they found the Messiah or not, did we? Since we focused on King Herod after knowing that he felt threatened by the birth of the Messiah, he ordered every child below the age of 2, killed. Did he really believe in the prophecy? Apparently he did.

Meanwhile, God engineered. He sent an Angel to Joseph, in a dream as He redirected Joseph’s family to Egypt and they stayed there till King Herod’s passing. Later on, one night through another dream, God redirected Joseph and his family back to Israel again. Did God protect them? Yes, He did. (Matthew 2:13-23)

Oh sorry for the sidetrack again. So where were we..?

The Magi.. of course! Did they ever see the baby,  ‘The promised Messiah’? According to Matthew 2:9-12

“After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen when it rose went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. 10 When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. 11 On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. 12 And having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route. “

I believe they did. You see, apparently King Herod did not get the memo..

Up till this point, we saw God engineered spectacular events supernaturally. Why is it so important you wonder? Why did God create such a grand stage with multitude of witnesses in His story telling? Or was He trying to make a point..? If It was.. what was it?

Hopefully we get a peek into the answers above next time. Meanwhile, enjoy this carol. Sleep tight and have an awesome night everyone!  Stay tuned, we’ll see you tomorrow.

King Herod The Great

Who Is King Herod The Great?

If you follow our story, you may remember we promise a historical figure enters as the highlight of tonight’s show. Have you heard of King Herod the Great? Tonight, King Herod enters the stage.

King Herod

King Herod

According to the Book of Matthew chapter 2: 1:8,

After Jesus was born Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, “Where is the one who has been born King of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”

When King Herod heard this, he got scared and all Jerusalem with him. When he had called all together the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Messiah was to be born. “In Bethlehem in Judea, they replied, “for this is what the prophet has written:

“But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judea, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.”

Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared. He sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and search carefully for the child. As soon as you find him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship him.”

Well, you would think King Herod kept his word, since he was the King, right? The truth was.. he planned to find the baby to kill him before the prophecy could come to fruition. (Matthew 2:16-18)

What a spectacular event that happened around the birth of Jesus’ time! A King interfered and planned to get rid of the Messiah as promised from the prophecy. If King Herod had not believed that the Messiah was born right at his reign, he would not have tried to look for him and attempted to murder the child.

King Herod

God Redirected Joseph And His Family To Egypt.

God Intervene

But, God knew just what to do.He changed the plan. He sent an Angel through a dream to redirect Joseph’s family to Egypt and they stayed in Egypt until King Herod died. Can we say that God was in control? Yes!

Till this day, God is still in control. Everything that ever happened, God knew and are still in control. Isn’t it a comfort to know that God is still in control today?

Well, do you look forward to another adventure with us? Hope to see you soon.. stay tuned till tomorrow. Good night!
